Unique in every way, during the 1970’s and 1980’s, Ann Wilson was not only a world-class songwriter and performer, but was untouchable as a rock vocalist during an era that would eventually become known as, “the” era of rock vocal powerhouses.
As a drummer, the motivation instilled by the mere opportunity to accompany an artist like Ann, for me, has been more responsible for my perseverance than even the inspiration gained from my favorite drummers.
