Mass graves and evidence of unimaginable abuse found at Catholic run boarding homes, countless substantiated cases of sexual abuse at the hands of catholic priests, and now this.
Catholicism may indeed be a, “religious organization”, and may indeed sponsor legions of small community factions that perform selfless acts of kindness for which they are to be commended.
But the hypocrisy and human rights history of The Vatican can hardly be reconciled with this kind of moral behavior and does not deserve credit as its sponsor.
The colossal conglomeration controlled by The Vatican is clearly unmanageable and must become subject to some form of oversight.
The human rights record of this, “entity” has become intolerable and the time to begin course correction is now.
